Ways to Worship and Serve

Note: Most of these groups meet during the school year, but watch the calendar for summer activities!

Bible Studies
There is an ongoing bible study on Friday mornings at 6:00 am. It is a Men’s ecumenical bible study. Join at any time!

Committees – See the list of Committees on our Staff page. A leader is still needed for the Education Committee.

Quilting – to resume in the fall (normally meets 9:00 am on Tuesdays)

W-ELCA – Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. ELCA emblem
W-ELCA Handbooks are available. If you haven’t picked yours up yet, the 2007-2008 Handbooks can be found on one of the tables in the narthex.

Youth & Education – look for more information in the following categories:

  • J.A.M. — Jesus and Me (3rd through 5th grade students); J.A.M. meets from 3:30 to 5:00 every other Wednesday. Students are encouraged to bring a friend.
  • M.U.G.S. — Making Us God’s Servants
  • T.A.G. — Talking About God (6th grade)
  • Youtherans — (9th through 12th grade); we will come together one Saturday evening a month for pizza and movie night.
  • Vacation Bible School (VBS).

Zion Choir – meets 6:45 pm on Wednesdays. We usually sing twice a month – once at 8:00 and once at 10:30; this year we will be joining the Saturday night service twice so they too can enjoy the choir! Zion Choir is open to anyone in the congregation who enjoys fellowship and singing. Contact Dustin Bagstad for more information.
