Call Committee – update
The Mission Profile was approved by the Zion Council on August 19, 2008.
Due to the September transition from Bishop Larson to Bishop Arends, we have chosen to submit the profile to the Synod office after this change is official. This is and will be a busy time for those involved in this change. We hope to welcome Bishop Arends with the Zion Mission Profile at the top of his to-do list.
We will keep you informed as progress is made. In Peace and Prayer,

Zion Care Ministers
We would like to renew a caring ministry in Zion. Of course a pastor is part of this ministry, but the more people involved, the better the quality of our caring.
Would you like to become a Zion Care Minister? Qualifications include:
- A caring heart
- The time to make at least one monthly visit
- A willingness to be trained to distribute Holy Communion in situations where the sacrament is desired.
Please let Pastor Chris or our seminarian Chris Naig know if you sense the Holy Spirit tugging you toward such a ministry.
