Ecumenical Worship in the Park

Members of Zion Lutheran Church and First Presbyterian Church will gather as a community of faith and share in the traditional Ecumenical Outdoor Worship service in Cance Park, Gale Avenue.
Please dress casually and bring your own lawn chair. If it is raining or the weather is hot, the service will be held at Zion. A time of coffee fellowship will be held at 9 a.m. and following the service.
A special offering will be collected to support the Galesville Food Pantry.

The Zion Lutheran Scholarship Committee is again looking for items for the upcoming 11th ANNUAL THRIFT SALE. Saturday April 10th, 7am – 2pm. All donations needed and welcome! (clean clothing, toys, books, furniture, bikes, etc.)
Proceeds awarded as scholarships.

Christmas Caroling

A group will be going Christmas caroling on December 16th to deliver poinsettias. Plan to join us! Anybody can sing a Christmas carol with God’s help! Please join us on the 16th at 6:00 pm. We will meet in the narthex.
Apple Affair

Apple Affair is October 3, 2009. Pies will again be made Friday October 2, 2009 to be sold at Apple Affair on Saturday. Help is needed for Pie making at Zion starting at 7:30 am on Friday.
Food pantry
Thank you to everyone who contributed food or money to help the local food pantry. You can contribute to the food pantry anytime during the church year by putting food donations in the shopping cart in the Narthex. These items include the following:
- peanut butter
- tuna
- canned fruit
- cereal
- beans
- flour
- sugar
- soup
- spaghetti and sauce
- cookies,
- cake mixes
- mustard and catsup
- canned vegetables – especially peas
Garden produce would also be welcome.
Coulee Region Gospel Choir

The Coulee Region Gospel Choir presents Experiencing God.
The Coulee Region Gospel Choir will present a worship musical, Experiencing God, at many area churches, beginning March 22nd. The Coulee Region Gospel Choir is made up of many of our church members along with members from other area churches of all denominations. This worship musical helps believers recognize that God is always at work around us, loves us, and invites us to join Him in missions that change lives all over the world. Producing and directing the choir is Ruth Ann Granum and Dean Gunnarson, accompanied by Dan Collins on the piano, Paul Leithold – guitar, Mike James – bass and Jeff Touchinski on percussion. A free will offering will be taken to support the mission of the choir.

Easter – No concert.
